We have adjusted our Keota sandal design for children for a sandal that is secure, but easy enough for most kids to get on and off by themselves. All children's sandals come in standard (EU) sizes and are a stack height of ~8mm. We have built in a very slight upward pull at the toes on smaller sizes to help prevent tripping. The upward pull is flattened out by slight weight but lifts with the toes as the child walks.

It’s hard to find sandles for active little people. Love that Unshoes makes these so our daughter can run and play without getting stickers!
My two boys tried these out last summer and I was pretty disappointed. We messed with the straps so much to try and make them stay on but they would often fall off. My 5 year old was able to wear them better than our 18 month old (he was this old last summer). I think they work ok for older kids but not for tiny feet. They always fell off no matter how we adjusted (tight or just right) the straps were. I won’t buy again for either kid.
We’re in our second size of these, and still loving them. Just got back from a Green River campout with our 3.5 year old, and they were so easy and breezy. Sand dries and flakes off quickly. They dry quickly after getting wet. She’s never had a blister from them. The last pair lasted about a year (through several growth spurts), so great value in my book. I’m with those who would love to see a few more colors. Yellow especially. Thank you, Unshoes!
I can’t even count how many times we’ve bought these for our kids now. They wear them all summer and are sad when it gets cold and they can’t wear them anymore.
We got these for our 3 year old grandson. We bought one size up and they fit a little large, but should fit for a while. My wife has the Keota and I have the Wakova Feather.Now he wears his "Bappa sandals" to be like Grandpa.
He likes that he can take them on and off himself. He seems comfortable in them.
They are well made and efficiently designed.
We are very happy with them, as per usual with Unshoes.
SIZE CHART
Our sizing is based on standard shoe sizing and is typically true to size, however, we suggest measuring your foot and and using the shoe size chart below to determine the best size for you. Stand with your heel against a wall and place a ruler or measuring tape along your foot to measure the total distance from the wall to the longest part of your foot. If you already own a pair of Unshoes sandals, you will likely wear the same size but please check the chart to make sure.
