My kids have had several pairs of Keotas from age 2 up to currently age 6. These shoes have been great for international travel, forest school, and hiking around the mountains. They hold up well in water and dry off quickly. We've never had a single blister from these. They do need to be tightened occasionally, but we haven't had issues with them falling off of our kiddos' feet. They're easy to put on and take off, which allowed our littles ones to be more independent with their shoes. They're super easy to clean-- mud, chicken poop, you name it-- it'll just hose right off. We've also never been able to wear through a pair before my kids have grown out of them. Several of the pairs we've had have gone through my two kids and have still been in great shape to pass down to another wild child. We get lots of questions about these shoes and compliments. These are a great model of sandal, but Unshoes in general is just a really solid barefoot shoe maker that we come back to time and time again.

I'll start by saying I have purchased my kids Keotas before and the past versions were far better. My kids don't like this version and I'm questioning why in the world they cost nearly $20 more than the old version as well. I don't see where the increase in cost has gone in terms of design or materials. Save your money and buy Earth Runners for kids whose feet are large enough and find something else entirely for kids with smaller feet. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because they do offer smaller sizes than most other barefoot companies.
